Christine Mayhew has been practicing law since 2016. Her background is rooted in advocacy, research, and service to others. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2008, after which she devoted five years to advocating for artists with disabilities to achieve professional success through careers in the arts at Visionaries and Voices. From 2013-2016 she served as a faculty research assistant to faculty members at Salmon P. Chase College of Law. In 2015-2016 Christine completed an internship at the Newport Public Defender’s Office and represented incarcerated individuals in civil suits against the state of Ohio at the Ohio Justice and Policy Center under the supervision of David Singleton.
Christine is a member in good standing of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Northern Kentucky Bar Association, the Eastern District of Kentucky, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Salmon P. Chase Inn of Court. She regularly accepts pro bono cases on behalf of Legal Aid of the Bluegrass. She takes a creative, investigatory approach to matters, and believes that each client’s unique legal situation deserves her finest effort.
